Here are just some of the benefits you can expect from your journeyeast experience.

1.     Free Email Address:  yourname@journeyeast.org

2.     FREE PERSONAL WEB PAGE!!!  Share pictures and stories with your family 

       and friends.  Maintained by BESI LLC, (5-Megabytes)  Starting in March you

       will be able to edit your own web page and upload photos.  Do you want to

3.     Business Cards, Identifying your teaching specialty, your

       apartment address, phone, email address and web page address.  Show them

       to taxi drivers when returning home, give them to family and new friends

       you'll meet.

4.    Training Seminars and Improvement Sessions:  Held twice per year. 

       Network with fellow teachers across China, meet with school administrators,

       business leaders and government officials.  Learn how to improve your

       teaching methodology and share your experiences with new teachers arriving

       in China. 

5.    Mobile Phone Interpreter Services:  All teachers receive a mobile phone. 

       You have access to a BESI representitive 24-hours a day to assist with

       buying groceries, finding your way in taxis, etc.. 

6.    TEACHER SWAP FEATURES:    Get the fullest experience with a

       journeyeast program.  Swap jobs with your fellow teachers for one or two

       weeks.  Travel more often, make more friends.  Available ONLY to 1-year

       teachers having served at least six months.
